Self Imprisonment (2014)

A strayed man on a deserted place looking for shelter and he faces the strangest coincidence.

I've started this (Zero-Budget) project during my stay in Jordan early in 2012 with my friends Beabars Appesh and Mohammad Jabasini as Actors, unfortunately, due to work and travel, we couldn't finish the shooting as scheduled. Later in 2014, I've started to work on a fake trailer based on the footage I've got, but after a deep look into the footage, I was able to pull the film through the lake of footage with the help of editing and VFX.

VFX wise, this film was one of the most challenging projects I've ever did. Almost every scene has some VFX work, and a lot of matte painting were made to convey the feel I was looking for and couldn't be done on location. The low quality of the picture made it harder to achieve clean tracking and rotoscoping, so there were a lot of hard working hours invested in it.
